Eyal Alfi is a founder and principal of New Gables Capital and owner of Pan York Investment Group, a family office targeting long term fixed income.
A Commercial Real Estate Lender and Banking veteran, Mr. Alfi spent his first 6 years as a Vice President with the Dime Savings Bank of New York’s Commercial Real Estate group. Thereafter and following the acquisition of the Dime Savings Bank by Washington Mutual Bank, Mr. Alfi served as Vice President and a Senior Loan Officer with WaMu’s Commercial Real Estate Lending Group. With WaMu and over a four-year period, Mr. Alfi, was consistently a top performer, personally originating over 700 commercial real estate loans aggregating over $1.4 billion.
In late 2007, Mr. Alfi left commercial banking to join GFI Realty Inc. as President of Investment Sales and Finance. At GFI, Mr. Alfi managed 40 sales and finance brokers serving primarily the NY metro area with total sales in excess of $290 million in 2008 during the financial crisis.
Over the years, Mr. Alfi’s range of responsibilities, experience and expertise included commercial real estate loans underwriting, origination and syndication; balance sheet held assets and liabilities risk management. Mr. Alfi is a veteran of the Israeli Air Force. He holds a Bsc in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University, England and an MBA from Bradford University, England.
Steven Fischler is a founder and principal of New Gables Capital and the owner and managing principal of SRF Ventures, a real estate investment and advisory company. He has over 12 years of commercial real estate experience.
After spending eight years at Lehman Brothers, including three years managing some of the highest profile real estate assets in the Lehman Bankruptcy (including Canyon Ranch Miami Beach & Setai South Beach) Mr. Fischler started his own real estate investment and advisory company in 2012. In only four years of operations Mr. Fischler has placed over $800 million of debt and over $500 million of equity with various lenders and investors. He has also principally invested in 20 multifamily properties in Illinois, Georgia, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, two hospitality assets in Indiana and Florida.
Mr. Fischler’s relationships include owners, operators, investment banks, commercial banks, private funds and high net worth individuals. Mr. Fischler holds a BBA in Management with a minor in Marketing from the University of Miami and a Masters in Real Estate Finance with distinction from NYU.
